You want a varied workout that helps you evolve your open water swimming.
Want to gain open water swim skills in a team environment
Can swim in the range of 1:20 - 2:30 per 100m
Can swim consistently without stopping & listen and folllow instructions from our coaches
Are prepared to challenge yourself - Swimmers that aren’t as fit can take longer rest before re-joining the workout again if needed.
You can’t swim consistently
You require a lot of attention due to your inexperience in the open water. This ties up our on the water personal and therefore the safety of other swimmers.
You are new to open water swimming and don't have a wetsuit to wear.
You can't or won't listen to on the water instructions and participate in a way that keeps other swimmers safe.
➡️ Every Session - you must check in with our team to register your attendance at the session.
➡️ You must wear a Boost Coaching Yellow or Pink Swim Cap - if you have a prior version (not the black one) you may wear that.
➡️ You must purchase your session online - we don't accept cash on the day.
➡️ Meet by the toilet block at Milford Reserve on Craig Road, Milford.
➡️ You need to be ready to be in the water at 6:45 am.
➡️ You can leave your car keys (only) in my vehicle - this is not a guarantee of there safety, but the car will be locked.

Park on Craig Road, Milford, Auckland.
Follow the map to Milford Beach Reserve (North End of Milford Beach). There is a toilet block there for changing facilities and plenty of parking at this time of the day.
Lake Pupuke - recommended parking off Manurere Ave down by the Pump House Theatre.
In the event of of bad weather conditions or water quality issues we may use our back-up location for our training sessions. We may advise this on the day through our Facebook Page.
REASONS
This reason for a change is usually due
1. To a strong easterly swell or wind that makes it hard for our team to safely manage everyone and ourselves in the water
2. Heavy rain that changes the "SafeSwim Guidelines". Check what Milford Beach is currently at https://safeswim.org.nz/
You must submit this safety form once per season before attending your open water training session. You will be prompted to complete this after your purchase. If you have already done it this season you can by-pass the form.
