You want a group environment that caters for a novice to entry level ability.
You want to evolve your open water swimming skills.
You can swim consistently for at least 5 min at a time between breaks.
You can listen and follow instructions from our coaches
Are prepared to challenge yourself - swimmers that aren’t as fit can take longer rest before re-joining the clinic again if needed.
You cannot swim
You require a lot of 1:1 attention from our coaches
You are not willing to wear the required safety equipment (e.g., Boost Coaching brightly colored swim cap, wetsuit if advised).
You can't or won't listen to on the water instructions and participate in a way that keeps other swimmers safe.
You are a triathlete or open water swimmer with advance/ intermediate swim skills - please consider joining our other group session starting a 6:45 am
➡️ Every Session - you must check in with our team to register your attendance at the session.
➡️ You must wear a Boost Coaching Yellow or Pink Swim Cap - if you have a prior version (not the black one) you may wear that.
➡️ You must purchase your session online - we don't accept cash on the day.
➡️ Meet by the toilet block at Milford Reserve on Craig Road, Milford.
➡️ You need to be ready to be in the water at 8:00 am.
➡️ You can leave your car keys (only) in my vehicle - this is not a guarantee of there safety, but the car will be locked.

Park on Craig Road, Milford, Auckland.
Follow the map to Milford Beach Reserve (North End of Milford Beach). There is a toilet block there for changing facilities and parking spaces available around the reserve.
Lake Pupuke - recommended parking off Manurere Ave down by the Pump House Theatre.
In the event of of bad weather conditions or water quality issues we may use our back-up location for our training sessions. We may advise this on the day through our Facebook Page.
REASONS
This reason for a change is usually due
1. To a strong easterly swell or wind that makes it hard for our team to safely manage everyone and ourselves in the water
2. Heavy rain that changes the "SafeSwim Guidelines". Check what Milford Beach is currently at https://safeswim.org.nz/
You must submit this safety form once per season before attending your open water training session. You will be prompted to complete this after your purchase. If you have already done it this season you can by-pass the form.
